After the late cancellation of the event in February due to the storms, we had a very pleasant, if rather chilly, day on Saturday. I hope everyone enjoyed the courses. Caerphilly Woods are very mixed and have some interesting terrain in parts, but are very physical in places. Starting from the Caerphilly Mountain car park it is difficult to avoid considerable climb, even on the shortest courses. However, nobody complained at the finish, so I assume you’re all fitter than me.
